Opus® Plasma:

A one-of-a-kind skin renewal treatment using Fractional Plasma Technology with Opus® Plasma

What does this Laser Treatment help with?

Opus® Plasma treatment is for skin resurfacing in the most dramatic, non-surgical procedure. It helps renew the surface of the skin while addressing a wide range of skin concerns.

How does it Work?

This laser treatment involves fractional-based skin resurfacing that creates a pattern of microscopic injuries to the skin that then stimulates our natural, wound-healing response, exciting the skin to repair itself. By using Fractional-based technology, which controls the energy-to-tissue contact time, our clients will experience less downtime.

How Many Treatments will I Need?

While you will begin to see noticeable improvements following the first treatment, we recommended a package of 3 treatments to achieve optimal results.

What Can I Expect During the Treatment?

You will arrive at your appointment and be numbed with a topical anesthetic for 30 minutes prior to receiving your treatment. We strive to provide our clients with comfort during any service we offer. Depending on your treatment plan and location, the degree of discomfort will vary.

Pre-Laser Treatment Instructions

  • No Accutane use 6 months prior-to or between treatments
  • No sun exposure or use of tanning beds 4 weeks prior-to or between treatments.
  • No use of self-tanners 4 weeks prior-to or between treatments
  • No use of Tretinoin, Retinoids, or Retin-A products two weeks prior to or between treatments
  • Increase daily water intake to at least 48-64 oz 3-5 days before, the day of, and the day after treatment.
  • No use of peels, facials, exfoliants, topical antibiotics, masks, or acne products before or between treatments
  • If you have ever experienced oral herpes (cold sores), preventive prophylactic treatment with antiviral agents is recommended. Please contact the office if you need an antiviral prophylactic medication

Day of Treatment Instructions

  • Consider wearing loose clothing to avoid irritation to the treatment area
  • Do not wear jewelry, such as necklaces, earrings, or piercings to your treatment appointment
  • Do not wear any makeup or facial serum/cream/lotion to your treatment appointment
  • Update your provider about any changes to your skin, medical history, prescription or OTC medications
  • The treatment area cannot have any open sores, active herpes lesions (including cold sores), sunburns, or open areas
  • Eat a meal and hydrate at least 2 hours before treatment

Opus® Colibri:

Classic surgical eye lifts can come with a cost of unwanted downtime and can’t always maintain the natural shape of the eyes. With Opus Colibri, you can achieve amazing results without the complications of surgery or downtime.

What does this treatment Help With?

Opus Colibri uses Opus Fractional-based technology to resurface the skin around the eyes, creating a tighter and lifted result. By using Fractional-based technology, the Opus® laser allows our providers to control the energy-to-tissue time, thus minimizing unwanted inflammation and leading to longer recovery times.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

During your consultation with one of our Youthful Aesthetics Laser providers, we will assess your skin and laxity to help develop a customized treatment plan. While you will see noticeable results after your first treatment, we recommend 2-3 treatments for optimal results.

What Can I Expect During the Treatment?

You will arrive at your appointment and be numbed with a topical anesthetic for 30 minutes before receiving your treatment. We strive to provide our clients with comfort during any service we offer. A Clinical study has shown that Opus Plasma (using fractional-based technology) required 50% less downtime when compared to a fractional skin resurfacing technology using a laser.

What Does Recovery Look Like?

We generally tell clients to expect 2-3 days of swelling. The redness will decrease over the week following.
